Please join the the Benefit for Hidalgo County Cancer Walk in a night of music on September 27, 2025 at the Sounds of Healing. The Event will start at 4:30 Pm and will be located at North Park Lordsburg, NM. Admissions cost $20 per person and 12 & under are free. We hope to see you there! ![]()

Municipal Elections for the Village of Virden are coming up in November. Candidates filing day is this Tuesday August 26, 2025. The Village office will be open Monday 9am-5pm and Tuesday 9am-2:00pm for those interested in running for Positions on the Town Council. The Candidate form needs to be notarized. Hollie Jone will be available to notarize at 5:00pm Monday the 25th before the town council meeting at 5:30. Below gives you information for what positions are open along with important dates for the Local Election.
